Description

Sign o' the Crimes is a game prototype by Lloyd May & Ray Gifford. You play as the Signing Assitive Machine (SAM), who helps Alex The Agent gather intel and solve mysteries. Alex can't make any noises while on a mission, so they use Americal Sign Language (ASL) to communicate, specifically fingerspelling. You're tasked with guiding Alex along the most appropriate path and taking note of what they sign to you. In the end, it's up to you to solve a small mystery, using the words Alex signed to you throughout the level as hints.

Instructions
[Left-Click] on one of the colored boxes to move around.
The boxes are colored according to how difficult the words (and how beneficial the hints they lead Alex to)
You'll then see Alex ASL fingerspell a word to you. When prompted, type in the word and hit [Enter]
Once we've completed 3 colored boxes (one in each row), click on the white square on the back wall.
You'll see 4 images and all the hints you've taken note of throughout the level. Choose the correct image, you've only got one shot!

Color code for box difficulty:
Green - Short & slow. Hints mildly helpful
Yellow - Medium-length & pace. Helpful hints
Red - Not for the faint of heart (or eyes!) Incredibly handy hints!
